MCS | What Is a "Post Only" Order?

*This post has been written by Hedgehog, an MCS influencer and one of Korea's famous cryptocurrency key opinion leaders.

Greetings from MCS, the derivatives trading platform where traders ALWAYS come first.

MCS, a cryptocurrency derivatives trading platform, allows you to choose from a variety of options when placing your order. Today, I want to introduce the Post Only order among various order types.

🔸 What is a Post Only order?

“A Post Only order is only valid when the order I place can be a maker order; if not, it will be canceled."

Simply put, the orders submitted with the Post Only option are only valid for maker orders, and are automatically canceled if they cannot be made to maker orders.

This Post Only option, which can guarantee maker orders, is especially advantageous for scalpers who make numerous transactions in a short time, and is also useful for users who trade large quantities. This is because if it is a Maker order, BTCUSDT products on MCS can receive a 0.025% rebate. (FYI, it is 0.035% only for a limited time.)

🔸 Where to Set Post Only?

The Post Only function of MCS can be found at the bottom of the order window as shown in the image above.

When you submit an order after checking Post Only box, the Post Only option is applied. If you do not want to use the Post Only option, simply uncheck it again and submit your order. In the case of MCS, Post Only is not checked by default, so if you want to use it, please make sure to check the box before you submit your order.

MCS Traders who flip-trade or trade with large amounts of investments should utilize this Post Only option.
