MCS | 'Upbit Developer Conference(UDC) 2020' Postponed due to COVID-19 Aftereffect

Dunamu Inc., operator of the Korea's top crypto-asset exchange 'Upbit', announced indefinite postponement of 'Upbit Developer Conference (UDC) 2020' that was originally scheduled on May 9.



South Korean cryptocurrency exchange launched in October 2017 by Dunamu, 'Upbit' has annually held UDC, a conference where 'developers' interested in blockchain technology can come together for in-depth discussions on key innovations and global trends. Upbit held UDC2018 in September 2018 at Jeju Island for part one of its program and UDC2019 in September 2019 at Incheon.

The slogan for 2018's inaugural event was ‘Proof of Developer.’ Just as developers provide proof of their work on the blockchain, experts from around the world gathered at UDC 2018 to share their blockchain projects with the rest of the ecosystem. UDC 2019 was meant to bring together developers from around the globe for a meaningful exchange of ideas with world-class experts, as well as productive networking events and hands-on programs for the next generation of developers

Indefinite postponement of UDC2020 due to Covid-19

UDC2020 that was originally scheduled on May 9 was put off for an unknown amount of period due to COVID-19 pandemic. Dunamu said on its notice, "Our apologies goes to those who were looking forward to this year's event. We will continue to review the situation and make a decision in line with government guidelines.
